I did workers in the store who were open carrying. YMMV.Īnother challenge was our RSO was not open carrying. But there were moments when we did not have an RSO in our immediate area. The guy stated they all went through a one day RSO class when they got hired. They stated if it got hectic they would add an RSO. HERE IS THE CHALLENGING PART, 22 lanes(2 bays, 11 lanes each bay) ONE RSO!!! The bays connect inside the range by way of one door with a window. There is a lounge with three tables to watch bay 1 through a window. But there are bullet proof glass windows(limited in size) but you can see into the range. There are two doors or chambers to walk through to get into the range. You really don't notice shooting range noise beyond the wall. You have to go the bathroom which is rather remote, and they do not have deleading soap. There is no immediate sink leaving the range to wash. Again not as many creature COMFORTS as TSS but we did have a place at a table to ready ourselves to enter the range. My total cost with admin fee and targets for the day was $5.15. Their targets all cost the same amount, pick your own off a rack. $3 admin processing fee for the yearly safety waiver. (More critical of another employee later) The guy helping me did not seem like a gun guy, but he was a service guy and a thinking guy. Very nice gift, since they had no working relationship with TSS. ![]() I get to go back to SPB for free until Dec. ![]() When I said yes they asked for it and transferred the balance of my TSS membership to Shoot Point Blank and gave me a new card. They promptly asked if I had my TSS membership card. I got to the counter and announced that I was a prior member of TSS and was trying them out for my new home range. They were probably too big and while comfortable it probably was part of what led to their demise. It is not as spacious as Total Shooting Sports, but they had a lot of dead space that was not making them money. I was a member of Total Shooting Sports before it closed. Today was my first day to try out Shoot Point Blank.
